My time will come!

Oh yes. I will be out of the Navy before I know it. You ever just get irritated with people for no reason. Like, the sound of their voice sets you off a little. Yeah, that's where I'm at with the Navy. I can't stand certain people. Sometimes I just want to scream, "You all need to GROW UP!" Ahhhhhh... I feel better now.

So, I am working the midnight shift. I haven't had much sleep in the past three days. Tomorrow will be the first day that I will get a good full nights sleep (oh yeah). Well, that's if my cough lets up. I've been waking up in the middle of the sleep I do get coughing.

I started working out last week. I hate the feeling of just starting out, you know? In the middle of and after your work out, your stomach hurts and you ache all over! That's starting to die down a bit, thank goodness.

Well, that's about it for now. I'm looking forward to getting back to Japan. I miss Kendra SO sticking much!

It's been a while...

Wow... ok... It's been a hot minute since I last updated this. My mom got on me about it :). That's cool. I need to update this every so often, don't you think ?

Well, it's been an incredible journey these past couple months. A lot has happened from snorkling in Saipan to Kendra getting pregnant. We've had a blast!

Kendra is now 20 weeks into the pregnancy. I'm chering her on. Trying to help out around the house and stuff. It's a great feeling to know that I'm going to be a daddy. A lot of people ask me what I want to have; a boy or a girl? I didn't really think much about it at first (honestly). But, after much thought, I would like to have a daughter. The thought of having a daddy's girl (and you know that she will be) brings a huge smile to my face. I love the thought of taking my little girl out on dates, holding her hand, holding her close when she's down... oh yeah. I definitely want a little girl.

On the other hand, a boy would be great too. Hanging out, talking about guys stuff, going to baseball games, watching football, sharing deep personal thoughts on our lives and the Lord. Oh yeah... a little boy would rock.

In all honesty... as long as he/she is healthy. That is ALL I care about.

My parents got to visit in November! They were over here for THanksgiving. We had a huge dinner. It was My parents, and two of my bros, Steven and Brian. Then we had a few guys from my workspace that Kendra and I got to church with. It was awesome! After the fantastic dinner prepared by Kendra and my mom we played a game of touch football. It was awesome! We had the great opportunity to tell my family in person that Kendra was pregnant. Their responses were awesome! My mom screamed with excitment, dad said, "Get out of here!" (he was real estatic), Brian thought we were lying to him (hahaha), and Steven (classic) put his hands on his hips and asked, with a diappointed look on his face, "You didn't use a condom?" HAHAHAHA! I love my family. They had a lot of fun here.

Kendra's brother, Seth, got to visit in December, right after Christmas. We had a great time with him. We got to hang out in Tokyo and get a little "happy" and sang some kareokee. We also had a great time in Hakonae. There is a GREAT view of Mt. Fuji from a mountain top in the town. We alos got to go to an Yuenesun (sp?). You take your bathing suite and go from hot tub to hot tub. It's awesome! There are like 20 different hot tubes with different kinds of chemicals in each. They even have a coffee bath!! Really.

Matt Taflan got to visit in January along with Rufus Tree (a christian rock bamd). My church held a youth conference over one weekend. We had Rufus Tree as the main band, Tim.... something.... was the speaker (he is awesome!), and somefriends of mine and I lead a worship band. It was great! Matt got the chance to show some of his videos and sell some of his DVDs. He is an awesome guy with a great talent and an amazing love for God. In any case, Kendra and I took Matt, Rufus Tree and the Stonebargers (friends of ours) to Hakonae to see Mt. Fuji and head to the Yuenesun. We had a blast! We got take Matt and Rufus Tree out to experience some Japanese culture and food. God is good!

Did I mention that I can't wait to become a dad? :) I am very excited. It's all I think about. I can't to hold my little one.

Good news: I have less than three months left in the Navy!!! I cannot wait to get out of here!! It's time to go. You know it's time to leave when you don't recognize anyone in the workspace anymore :). In any case, Kendra and I are looking forward to Kentucky. It's going to be great. We are looking forward to meeting new people and getting the chance to fellowship with a new church body.

Well, that's about it. I pray that you all stay encouraged in God's Word. God bless you all!
