Hey all! I am sitting here at work doing nothing. It is now 8:20am on my Saturday morning (6:20pm on Sunday EST). Yes... we work weekends. Only because we are underway. The only day they don't have us work is on Sunday. BUT, I'm not going to get to sleep in tomorrow because I have to help with the Easter Sunrise Service tomorrow at 6am!!! AHHHH!! That means that I have to wake up at, like, 5:30am! That REALLY stinks! GEEZE!! Oh, well. Now that I think about it there's nothing that really sucks about it because we are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Amen!

We had Good Friday Service yesterday. I got to play "Thief," by Third Day. A lot of people really liked it. I know that it touched some hearts. Praise the Lord! God is so freakin' AWESOME! Victory is ours!!! Hallelujah!

24 more days and I will be home! I cannot wait! It's right around the corner. I am going to have a lot of fun :). I just can't wait to get my mouth on those nice, juicy, tasty BW3's Spicy Garlic wings. OH YEAH!!!! That's going to be noice!

Check this out! I was talking to Joel Dollar, a new friend of mine (I love it when the Lord introduces me to new people). Anyway, I found out that he was a Christian and that he has his own recording studio back in Japan. AND, he wants to record Second Sons (the band I'm in)! How cool is that?! I am so excited! Of course, we can't start until I get back to Japan until June but it's definitely happening. Joel, Myles Shapiro (our drummer) and myself are going to sit down this upcoming week and figure out what songs we want to put on the record. Praise the Lord!!!!!

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: Things always work out for the best when you give your all to the Lord.

Ok. It is now 6:45am on a beautiful Monday morning, the 14th of April 2003. I am dead tired! I haven't been to bed in the past 15 hours. And I probably won't be able to hit my rack until 10:00pm tonight! That SUCKS, don't you agree? Please pray for me. I am definitely going to need it today. Pray that I may have the strength and energy that I need today. Also, pray that I can grab a few winks to get me energized. The Lord knows I need it ;).

On the up side, I got to talk to Kendra, my mom, dad, bros, and Matt Taflan. The only thing is the phone line kept on dropping out on Matt and I's conversation. That sucked. I'm going to try to call him again when we pull inport somewhere.

Kendra had her bridal shower this past Saturday. We got a lot of gifts! Mostly bath towles. I guess when you can't think of anything to get for someone you get bath towels. You can never go wrong with bath towels :). I guess the shower turned out pretty good. About 50-60 people showed up. You know what? I think that there should be a groom shower, too. I mean, think about it, the woman gets two rings (engagement and wedding), two parties (bridal shower and bachlorete party) and they get two "e's" in their title (fiancEE vice the men's spelling - finacE). And all we men get is one ring and, on top of that, we lose everything we own. As soon as we say "I do" over 50% of everything you own goes directly to your spouse. I think, to even the odds, men should get an engagement big screen tv. It's only fair! I mean, for as much as I paid for Kendra's engagement ring, she could have got me a nice big screen tv. So, why doesn't that happen? Just wondering.

I really do hope that I can grab a nap sometime soon. I am going o be hurting today. WHOA!!!!! Sleep, sleep, sleep, and more sleep is what I need right now. Yes, sir. Sleep.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: Despite what you've heard, you can never "cath up" on your sleep.

I slept in today. I went to bed last night at 10:30pm and I woke up today at, like, 3:50pm. Not good. I hate it when I sleep my days away, you know? I wish I would have gotten up earlier so that I could have called Kendra. She just had her Bridal Shower and she wants to tell me about it. I'm really excited that she had it, too :). That just shows that the wedding is drawing nearer :). I can't wait!! It's going to be nice. I love her so much.

We were in Guam for about 2 days. We had to leave early because there is this big typhoon going into Guam. So, we left to stay safe. I think we should have stayed. I've never been in a "big" storm before. I think that it would have been cool. Maybe I'm just weird.

Let me see, there's really not much to talk about. Not much is happening. Ummm....... I come home in 29 days!!!! YEAH! That's exciting. I'm definitely looking forward to that. Some of the things I want to do while I'm home: golf, jam, hang out, shoot "vidgeos," act crazy, beat up my bros ;), get married, go to my old church, and whatever else comes up. I know that it's going to be fun.
