Ok. So, I didn't get to record on Friday (bummer). Oh, well. My recording producer was supposed to pick me up but he never did. I was a little upset but it gave me time to do some stuff.

I went to the Lighthouse that evening. It is an organization run by Cadence Ministries. The ministry's whole purpose is to get the Word of God out to the military service members. It's such a great ministry. They have dinners on Wed and Fri nights. Various Bible Studies throughout the week. It's so cool! A missionary family, the Cassidy’s, runs it. They are great people.

Paul Cassidy (the father) did a great lesson on how significant the blood of Jesus is. He talked about how the blood is the life-giving source to our bodies. I can't even begin to explain the service. It was too awesome!

Saturday (yesterday) I went out with the Quest youth group (it's our church's youth group). We played Man Hunt. It's a hind and go seek game. It was so fun. However, I am SO hurting right now from all the running :). It was definitely worth it all.

I am hoping that I can get into the studio this week. That would be nice. Keep it in your prayers. Thanks.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: Are you ready for the rapture of Christ's people? Or, would you be left behind?

As Fat Albert says, "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!" I am having a good time over here in Jup-an. I am going to start recording my album here pretty soon... PRAISE GOD!!! I can't wait! I start this Friday, the 26th. It's going to be fun. Please keep that lifted in your prayers.

Kendra is slowly getting ready to move over here. That's going to be so great. I definitely cannot wait for her arrival. I miss her so much!

I recorded a song this past Friday with a buddy of mine, Charles Clay. He is a great black gospel singer, when he wants to be. He's really searching right now. He wrote a song titled, "I've Learned That." It talks about how we go through hard times in life. And how we learn from them. So, he asked me about a month ago if I could play guitar on his song. I was like, sure. So I did. We practiced it a lot when our ship was out at sea (which I'll touch a little on later). And when we got back in homeport we recorded it. It sounds GREAT! His R&B background and my Alternative/Contemporary background mixed..... wow.... it sounds so awesome! Praise God!

So, the mighty USS Blue Ridge was deployed for a month and a half starting late in JAN and ending the mid of MAR. We went to (in no particular order): Malaysia, Thailand, China, and a few ports in Japan. It was awesome! China was really cool. We went to Shanghai. Beautiful place. The shopping was awesome! Thailand was cool, too. We went to Pattya and had a good time chillin and stuff. OH OH OH!!!! We went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Thailand and I got to play with the live band there! I had such a blast! I wish Kendra could have been there :(. Malaysia was cool. I got to see the tallest buildings in the world! That was fun :).

Nothing else has really been happening. I have 488 days left in the Navy (not that I'm counting ;). I can't wait to get out!

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: If you do not stand for the Lord Jesus, you will definitely fall for anything Satan throws at you.
